A recent job from Witton: playground slides fabricated and rolled, then skillfully finished so the running surface is smooth, consistent and ready to install.
The beds were rolled to a large, even radius - the kind of curve you cannot fake with a press brake alone. Side flanges were formed and drilled for assembly, then the faces were finished by hand so welds, mill marks and handling scuffs do not end up on a piece of play equipment.
Once signed off, each slide was packed with bubble wrap and cardboard between layers. A quality product is as much about how it leaves the factory as how it is cut and rolled.
